At one time, shortly after the incident of no-consent, David Dobrik tweeted and deleted a suspicious sounding tweet, “If I left everything in the vlog that I recorded, we’d all be in prison.” which he promptly deleted when people started coming after him.

This is the same man who is trying to discredit Trisha Paytas simply because according to him she has a ‘mental illness’ when there are literally dozens of other girls coming out of the woodwork on tiktok accusing him and other members of the Vlog Squad of the exact sam thing that Trisha is saying.

    Dobrik tweets and deletes

Seriously, if there was nothing to hide, then why delete that tweet? If it was just a joke, why remove it from existence? The truth will stand when the world’s on fire, and this just makes it look like Dobrik is hiding something by deleting it when he gets backlash.

This begs the question, what didn’t make it into the vlogs, and could it be used against Dobrik and Dom in this latest case of allegations against them? Because if it could, then, somewhere there’s a bunch of very incriminating footage that no one’s seen yet. That would settle the question once and for all, so law enforcement needs to invade someone’s iCloud, chances are it’s on there somewhere.

It just looks bad that Dobrik would joke about that sort of thing, knowing that he had such a platform and that he had a lot of fans, who, while not exactly young, looked up to him in some way or another. In no way should any media figure ever be held to a moral standard that doesn’t allow them to be human, but the thing is, it’s not that hard to be a decent human being, it’s not that hard to know the meaning of consent.

Clearly, Dobrik and the rest of the vlog squad need a dictionary to find that meaning. He’s looking like he has something to hide and in the day and age of screenshots, then influencers need to be a lot more careful about what they tweet and delete. Someone’s going to see it. Ultimately, what is done in darkness, will always come to light, our hearts go out to the victims. Stay tuned!!!
