‘The Bachelor’ spoilers find that Chris Harrison has acquired the talents of high-profile entertainment attorney Bryan Freedman, according to Page Six.

Long time host, Harrison’s future with the ABC reality juggernaut has remained up in the air since he ‘stepped aside’ following the outcry after he defended final rose winner Rachael Kirkconnell’s racially insensitive past.

‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Chris Harrison has lawyered up!

While the 49-year-old host and author has publicly apologized on Good Morning America and promised he is educating himself about racial issues and insensitivities, he was replaced by Emmanuel Acho for the After the Final Rose special that wrapped up season 25 and will sit out season 17 of the Bachelorette.

Currently the cast and crew are quarantining for the upcoming Bachelorette season without Harrison. Instead, ex-Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will be taking over the joint hosting post.

While this means the franchise has bought itself some more time when it comes to making a final decision about Harrison’s future with the show, it seems Harrison is getting restless. Now he has lawyered up and a source close to Harrison’s camp told Page Six, “Chris has had a spotless record for 20 years…He has always been the good company man, but, after the way he’s been treated by producers and executives over the past couple of weeks, he’s run out of cheeks to turn.”

Harrison told GMA anchor Michael Strahan he had intentions of and hoped he would return to his Bachelor hosting position but as network execs keep him dangling, it seems Harrison will not be afraid to play a little dirty.

After being with the franchise for nearly two decades, Harrison has alllll the inside information about the oft controversial series. The source claimed the embattled host isn’t afraid to spill a little tea, saying, “Now he’s ready to tell the truth about how things really work over there—and he has plenty of evidence to back him up.”

While there are no further details about the legal moves Harrison and his lawyer are gearing up for, it seems he means business.

‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Is it bad if we hope he doesn’t get his job back and moves on to being a consultant on UnReal instead?

Currently Bachelor Nation opinions are split over whether Harrison should return to the franchise yet or ever. While Harrison may have only contacted Freedman to protect himself, ABC could see this maneuver as calculated and consider Harrison taking legal counsel as the first shots fired.

Watch this space to see how ABC and the franchise retaliates!
