Zack Snyder‘s cut of ‘Justice League’ is right around the corner. It’s being released to HBO Max and will feature a darker story than the light-hearted and joke-ridden one we saw a few years ago. A lot of DC fans are looking forward to this, myself included.
One of the big pieces that have been released is a revamped version of the Joker. In ‘Suicide Squad’ we saw a tattooed Joker with chains and short, greased back hair. This was met with mixed reviews but still, many people wanted to see what Leto could do with the character as most of his material was cut from the film.
The new images have been revealed for the Joker and I must say, it’s much more frightening and I like it a lot. Take a look at the photograph below!

Zack Snyder Reveals Jared Leto’s Joker For The Snyder Cut Of ‘Justice League’
What we get this time is a more aggressive look and it looks like he has ditched the jewelry for a hospital gown and gloves. Is he in Arkham Asylum in these photos or did he just get done butchering someone?
This definitely seems to fit better within the Snyder-verse with a darker persona and seemingly more grounded in reality as a psychopath.
The inclusion of the Joker was announced last year as one of Snyder’s additions to his director’s cut. He says the character will appear in a “very specific, apocalyptic” section of the film, according to Vanity Fair.
I anxiously await this new take on the famous character and Jared Leto definitely has the acting jobs to pull this off. Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ is set to release on March 18, 2021. Hopefully, with Snyder’s vision not being intruded upon we will now see the film as was originally intended!
