‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that it’s without a doubt that Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) has definitely seen her fair share of up and downs in Genoa City. After all, her dream of a happily ever after for her daughter Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) never came true. Her granddaughter Delia was tragically killed in a hit and run and she was never given the Chancellor mansion that she was promised.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers (Y&R) : What’s Next For Esther?
Now that Esther knows that Chloe Mitchell is alive and well, she plans on going back to Portland with her, seeing how Chloe still needs to pretend that she’s dead. It might not be an ideal situation, but one that they will definitely work out in the end. There’s no way that Esther will let go of her daughter… twice!
Speaking to Soap Central back in 2015, Kate said that one of the reasons why she loves her job so much on The Young and the Restless (Y&R) is because she gets to work with such a fabulous cast and crew. Plus, you never know what the writers have in store as there’s always some sort of surprise at every corner.

She told the site, “I think it’s great. It’s my job as an actress to bring what our brilliant writers write to life. It’s not up to me to write it, it’s not what I do. They do that so well, like you said. And the fact that they do this day in and day out, every week, every month, every year, is astounding to me. And the things they can come up with? Like I said, I would never have thought of this in a million years. It’s great, and you’re right — they do it so well, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens, and I hope the viewers will respond to it and like it and let them know.”
