‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that fans are looking forward to closing the week off with some of the same old and a fun reunion between old friends that could lead to some flashbacks of their adventures together.
Of course, we’re talking about Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) as they’ll come together and attempt to live vicariously through their previous endeavors.
Some things are just fun witnessing again and again, and these two fit nicely into that category.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 4: Trouble coming together
‘Young and the Restless’ expect this to be a fun and touching segment along the lines of the nostalgia the series as thrown at us this week to celebrate the show’s 12,000 episode.
It makes sense and we get a kick out of seeing our old favorites appearing in one way or another, and this is a great way to end the week.
Even better, we’re sure we’ll get plenty of flashbacks to their previous adventures. It’ll give us some good laughs and possible heartbreak depending on the topic.
It’ll also give us a chance to see Cricket for the first time since the classic episodes were aired during the pandemic, and that’s always a good thing for fans everywhere.
Is it wrong we want to see if they can cause, er, we mean see if they get into any trouble like the old days? There’s got to be something in Genoa City that’ll trigger their instinctual traits.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 4: A father’s concern
We’re not surprised that we’ll have another segment where Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) laments the string of events that have hurt Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) over the years.
In fact, bored might be a better way of putting it. As this has been a constant for months now.
But to be fair, it’s understandable as Victor is largely responsible for Adam’s actions throughout his life and he wants to see his son get better and have a healthy life. It makes sense and we don’t begrudge Victor at all for that.
So, Victor is going to continue doing what he does best for the foreseeable future, and that’s worry about Adam’s future.
‘Young and the Restless’ doubt Adam is willing to forgive his father for having him committed now or anytime in the future. In fact, when and if he’s released, we expect Adam to be even more vicious toward Victor and the Newmans in general.
But Victor’s concern will be more along the lines of the person that tried to shoot Adam still being out there, and he’s already convinced Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is the guilty party.
It won’t matter what the facts are, just as they weren’t relevant when Victor convinced Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that Billy was cheating on her when he wasn’t.
When it comes to protecting his family, the ends justify the means. But will Victor go too far in his quest for “justice” that it’ll cost him everything?
Now that would be an interesting storyline to see him return from whence he came at his own hands or those of his children.
