Debbie Johnson from 90 Day: The Single Life is ready to pack up and move to Canada with her boyfriend, Tony, but fans aren’t so sure that he is the right one for her. At first, we were all very excited about Debbie finding love again and we all wanted to see her very happy in love.
As we have all watched this relationship unfold, there have been some red flags come up with Tony. Fans have started to show even more concern about Tony and some of the comments that Debbie has made about him.
90 Day: The Single Life – The Red Flags
One of the first red flags that we saw with Tony begins on the surface. It begins with his tattoos. Many Redditors have shared that they believe that his tattoos are racist and that they show just what kind of person he is. One of his newest tattoos, which takes up half of his back, resembles the Croatian flag, which apparently that is where his family is from, but Redditors looked into it and have found out some horrible facts about this tattoo.
90 Day: The Single Life – Why Fans Hate Debbie Johnson’s Boyfriend
One Redditor found out that this crest that is on his back is the pattern that was used by a Croatian fascist group called the Ustase. This group is known for killing many Jews, Serbians, and Romani people in the second World War. Of course, this made Debbie’s fans very upset and concerned about the man that she is dating and in love with.
Even though there is a lot of evidence about these tattoos, Debbie has stood up for Tony and his tattoos on her social media accounts. Now she has deleted the comments that she made about his tattoos and many fans feel that maybe she has done her own research and perhaps she realized that these are very offensive tattoos. Along with these tattoos, Debbie has mentioned that her son, Colt Johnson is not on board with her calling Tony her soul mate.
In fact, on the last episode of the show, Debbie mentioned that if Colt meets Tony and brings his attitude, Tony would put a stop to it immediately. This seems a little strange since Tony is not his father nor does he really know anything about Colt. This had fans worried about the dynamic that will happen between them when they finally meet on the next episode of the show.
Of course, if these tattoos are really racist, we will just have to wait and see what TLC does about it. There have been people fired before for racism, but there are others who have criminal records and are still on the show.
