90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After cast member, Jenny Slatten has revealed that her marriage to Sumit Singh is not her first. This has shocked a lot of fans, but there are others that assumed she had been married before since she does have adult children.
Jenny gets a lot of backlash for her choices in life and when she and Sumit started dating and appeared on the show, fans weren’t so sure that they were going to work. Her choice to stay with Sumit through it all has been questioned and now more information about her ex-husband has come out.

From what we have seen, Jenny hasn’t been lucky in love. Apparently, her first marriage was just as rocky as her relationship with Sumit. Jenny was married to Ralph Edwards. Together, they have three daughters and four grandchildren. Her first husband was much younger than her as well.

He was seven years younger and it does seem like Jenny has a thing for younger men. Although, Sumit is 30 years younger than her! Ralph worked as a vocational nurse until 2012 and they were married for many years. However, their marriage was not a happy one.
Jenny is the one who filed for divorce in May of 2002, after 15 years of marriage. The couple went through quite the process of divorcing because they were trying to figure out the best way to share custody of their children. In a previous episode of the show, she did mention having to get this paperwork in order to legally marry Sumit in India.
This is one of the few times that she has spoken about her ex on the show. She has pointed out that this marriage is what caused her self-esteem to be so bad. She felt as if she was a shell of a person when her marriage failed and it is clear by the way that she acts with Sumit that she really hasn’t gotten over it.
In the newest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, we got a chance to finally see Jenny relax more. When she and Sumit are on their honeymoon, she actually takes the time to be calm, and present, and show him love and affection. Jenny has stood by Sumit since day one and even after he catfished her, she still went to see him time and time again. We are happy that she finally married him, but we are unsure how this will play out for her.
