90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is back and we have already been introduced to some interesting couples. One of these couples is Yohan Geronimo and Daniele Gates. These two have been married and she is packing up and moving from New York City to the Dominican Republic. As they have already started looking for a place to live, things have started to get tense for them.
During their apartment hunting, Daniele realizes that Yohan isn’t trying to split the rent and bills the way that she is. He expects to be the one who works and she pays the rent and does all the housework. She isn’t quite sure how this is going to work if they can’t see eye to eye on things.

When it comes down to it, Yohan doesn’t want much from their apartment. She told the cameras, “I think because of the community I’m looking in, these apartments are more modern than places like where Yohan lives. These are like ex-pat communities or really tourist areas that have a lot of security and a lot more resources, but these apartments are expensive.”

The one that they really fell in love with was $2,000 a month. When she asked him if he would help with rent, he told her that he could give her $90 a month. “I don’t know. That’s all I can give you. I’ll do whatever I can to help you.”
Daniele is very unsure how $90 is going to help when rent is so expensive. They begin to talk more about it and she tells him that if he can’t pay the rent, then he needs to cook and clean while she works online. Of course, this is not what he wanted to hear.
He told her that the wife is the one who does the household work. This doesn’t fly with Daniele and she tells him that he should be the wife if that is how he feels. She isn’t going to work, pay all the bills, and then do the housework.
