With just ten days to wed, 90 Day Fiancé cast member, Thais Ramone is having a lot of feelings about her engagement to Patrick Mendes. About two weeks ago, she finally told her father that they were getting married and he did not take it very well. In fact, he told her that she needed to come back to Brazil and he felt as if she had deceived him. They had quite an emotional conversation and now she is unsure what she wants from Patrick and if marrying him is the way to go.

Thais has been contemplating moving back to Brazil and starting her life over there. Of course, this is not at all what Patrick has in mind. He is in love with her and wants to be with her, but he also feels that she needs to prioritize her relationship with her family and with him.

Her father is very protective of her and Patrick does understand that, but at the same time, Patrick is trying to make a life with her and she has known that for years. With the wedding lingering, what is going to happen?
Patrick and Thais decide that they need to go on a trip to try and shake off a lot of this stress. The couple goes to Massachusetts and Patrick is still unsure of what will happen next. He feels that she can just pack her bags at any minute and just leave him. He doesn’t want that and that is one of the reasons that they are going to Boston.
While they are in Boston, Thais gets to meet Patrick’s mom and sister. She seems very excited, but also very nervous at the same time. Patrick tells the cameras that his family hasn’t always been close but they are all starting to get closer. He reveals that his mom has cancer and her days vary about how she is feeling. His mother has some type of lung cancer and he reveals that she has less than a year to live. His mother cannot travel to Orlando for the wedding and this is another reason that they are going to Massachusetts.
His mother and sister have a lot of questions for Thais and even though she is very nervous, she feels sad for his mother and is very grateful for being able to meet her.
We will have to see what happens next with these two on 90 Day Fiancé on TLC.
