On 90 Day Fiancé, Patrick Mendes is getting ready to meet the love of his life, Thais Ramone at the airport in Austin, Texas. The couple met when he went to visit his father in Brazil. He felt an immediate connection and he really wants it all to be perfect for her.
He got her a puppy and he has made the house look great. The only issue is, that he lives with his brother, John Mendes, and John has a tendency to be a little obnoxious at times. This has really started to bother Thais. Will she get through all of this with John in the house or are her expectations too high?
90 Day Fiancé: Thais Makes it To Texas
Once she gets to Texas, things may not be at all what Thais has imagined, and with John in the house, things may not be as friendly and quiet as she wanted. Patrick wants to make a great impression on Thais so he decides to wear his Rolex and he also told the cameras that he has lost some weight, got a facial, got a hair cut, and he got his back waxed, “so I’m ready to go.”

While he is getting ready, Patrick decides to talk John about things. There seems to be a tension in the air between the two of them and John makes it a point to say that he is interested to see how it all goes with them under the same roof. Patrick tells the cameras, “I’m a little nervous because Thais is not excited at all to live with John, like not one bit, zero, none. I’m hoping that if she can just to know John for who he is, and know he’s a good person, and you know, hopefully, they could have, like, a brother sister relationship.”
Patrick really does want her life in Texas to be perfect, but it looks like there are already a lot of red flags for them going into this relationship. No matter what they are, Thais is incredibly happy when she sees Patrick at the airport. The two of them cannot stop smiling and it is going to be quite an interesting season with these two on it.
Thais does mention that she isn’t going to tell Patrick about how her dad acted when she left. She knows her father doesn’t trust him, but this is a secret that she will keep from Patrick.
