Daniele left her entire life in New York City to move to the Dominican Republic with Yohan. This didn’t make Yohan happy since all that he wanted was to move to New York City and begin his life there.

Daniele couldn’t afford to live in New York City with him though. She was barely getting by as it is. When she moved to the Dominican Republic, Yohan told her that he wanted her to have a baby and to do it naturally. She wasn’t sure if she could because of her age.
Not only will it cost thousands of dollars for Yohan and Daniele to have a child, but she has already been open about the financial hardships that she has had. This is not appealing to Yohan though.
His butcher shop closed because he couldn’t afford it and now he is completely dependent on Daniele for everything. The tension is growing their marriage and now that Yohan has told his cousin about why he really married her, things are about to get a lot worse.
Yohan sat down with his cousin, he opened up to him about the true reason that he married Daniele. He said that Daniele told him that she always wanted to live in the Dominican Republic. She even made promises that they would have a grand life together.
He expected her to buy him a new house and a new car when she moved there. He feels as if she completely lied to him about the life that she would provide for him.
He has continued to compare his life to others and it is clear that he doesn’t want to do all the work, but wants Daniele to make all of the money and take care of the home. He told the cameras, “I married an American woman to stay here and have nothing? That’s like a horror story.”
