90 day Fiancé Spoilers is saying that we have been waiting to say my piece on this show for a bit so that I could get a feel for the couples involved in the new season. I am noticing that a lot of these couples have children. That’s not a bad thing in itself, sometimes in relationships things happen and life goes on and we find happiness with other people who aren’t necessarily the people we originally chose to procreate with. But what I find alarming is the fact that a lot of these people do not seem to be on the same page when it comes to the whole blended family thing.

Mursel and Anna come to mind most prominently. He hasn’t even told his family back home that Anna has kids yet or has even been married before! I think that’s a pretty big detail to leave out before leaving to go to the US for the first time. Anna’s family also does not seem to understand Mursel’s culture. Another red flag is that Anna’s Mom was asking him if he would stone her if he got angry enough with her for buying beer or doing anything else that might contrast with his beliefs. Anna’s Mom is mistaking Mursel’s culture for extremism that she sees on the news. Also they’re having to communicate via a translating app, the language barrier is that extreme. He’s also expressed that if his family finds out about the kids then he would go back to Turkey which doesn’t bode well for this relationship at all.

Now we learn that Mursel wants for them to be together for 10 years before he tells his family about the kids. That’s really not fair to Anna or her children. The older son doesn’t really seem all that impressed with Mirsel but the younger boy seems like he is willing to try and bond with Mursel in a father and son sort of way and even said from the moment that Mursel got there that he fit in with the family. Granted, he’s very young and with that youth comes a level of innocence that us adults don’t have. I just get the feeling that if anyone would get hurt in this, it would be him because he seems so ecstatic about accepting him. He isn’t going to understand that Mursel doesn’t feel the exact same way when it comes to him and his brother.

Another relationship that seems to be headed for the rocks is Robert and Anny. I don’t think she signed on to be a surrogate Mom for Robert’s son. She expected this experience to be the honeymoon before the honeymoon. Yes, she knew that he had a son but I don’t think that she realized just how much work went into being a single parent. She thought the kid would probably be foisted off onto the bio Mom after the initial meeting and they would just have time to themselves. But when you’re a single parent it doesn’t work that way. The child is always there.

It troubles me that neither of these couples really bothered to discuss these things in depth before they made the trip to the US to get married. I mean, it’s one thing to feel that connection with someone right off the bat and want to spend the rest of your lives together but a feeling and practicality is two different things. These couples have forsaken all practicality in the name of love. Unfortunately that does not make for a very lasting relationship. So will these guys even make it to 90 days? Stay tuned!!!
