Former 90 Day Fiancé cast members, Varya Malina and Geoffey Paschel shared their story on the show. The Russian beauty fell hard and fast for Geoffrey but didn’t realize that he had a criminal past.
After he told her about some of the horrible things he did as a teen, she felt a little uncomfortable being with him. Just when viewers thought they had broken up, Varya found her way to the States to surprise him.
Varya has stood by Geoffrey’s side through a lot. Not only did she find out that he has more of a criminal record than he has let on, but he also went to prison for his past actions. Of course, viewers felt as if TLC should have immediately pulled him from the show when they found out about these charges.
Back in February of 2022, Geoffrey went to prison and was sentenced to 18 years. No matter what he has done, Varya has stood by him and pushed for his release.
She believes that he is completely innocent, but there is a lot of evidence against him. Now Varya is updating her followers on what has been going on with him and his possible release.

Varya went Live on Instagram to share with her fans what was going on in her life. One of her followers asked how Geoffrey was doing. She told them that she was going to call his family and the lawyers involved in his case. She also mentioned the fact that they are trying to go to the Supreme Court with his case.
Varya’s fans were quick to chime in on how they think that she should leave him and they are shocked that she would stand by a man who physically harmed his ex-girlfriend.
One wrote to her, “Please do yourself a favor and move on in life. Are you really going to waste 18 years of your life waiting for him? You are such a beautiful soul and it pains me to watch you let years go by and by.”
Another one of her fans added, “It’s time that you dump him and just move on with your life.” For the most part, her fans feel that she needs to get out of this relationship now.

Even though Varya promised her fans that they would get a full update on Geoffrey’s time in prison, it turns out that she only spoke about him for two or three minutes. Her fans loved her life update, but they were a little confused about why she only had a few minutes to chat about Geoffrey.
