’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that, Ryan acted like Stephanie was the one proposing to him at that dinner. But Stephanie gave him the ring so that he could propose to her later with it. To me that just seems like it would ruin the surprise of getting proposed to, but I guess Stephanie doesn’t mind that.
She really doesn’t mind the fact that she is the one driving this relationship and that Ryan’s kind of just along for the ride. But that really begs the question, is that all that healthy?
‘90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Is Ryan and Stephanie’s relationship healthy?
Ryan spouts a bunch of “I can do it, I guarantee it” platitudes about coming to the US and how dedicated he is and Stephanie laps it right up. Maybe I’m just too cynical a person, but if someone said that to me I’d immiedately be like, “Okay we’ll see.” because usually when someone said stuff like that they have either no intention of doing it, or the effort is just going to be wasted and in the end circumstances are just going to get in the way.
Ryan didn’t detail his plan for coming to the US, aside from “no matter how many times they turn me down I’m going to get approved.” he doesn’t know that, he can’t predict that, but he said that to… what exactly, allay Stephanie’s fears? I hope he’s looked into other options besides the K-91 visa because even with the President’s lift on the travel ban, that may not always be an option.
There’s also the new thing that you have to have a negative COVID test in order to get into the US now, if Ryan has been exposed working at the resort – woops.
There are other things to consider here besides just the drive to succeed and love. Also, Stephanie doesn’t seem to be going about this with much common sense. She takes things that Ryan says at face value and while it’s good that she trusts him, is it really good to put that much faith in someone that you are sure has cheated on you in the past?
Like I said, I’m a rather cynical person so maybe I’m just the wrong person to ask but it just seems like Stephanie’s faith is misplaced. Hopefully I’m wrong about this and true love conquers all, I’d hate for Stephanie not to really get her money’s worth out of this relationship. Stay tuned!!!
