We had hints that Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre were going to move back to the US all the way from Ethiopia via their social media, but we didn’t have confirmation until they finally showed up on S9 of 90 day Fiance. Ariela and Biniyam are engaged, but because of their young son, Avi’s, medical issues Ariela decided to move her family back to the United States.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: So that’s what happened to Ariela and Biniyam!
Avi had a hernia and had to have surgery when he was only a few months old to remove it, but Ariela didn’t trust that the operation was going to be done safely in Ethiopia (considering she knows a thing or two about the Ethiopian medical system, she had to have an emergency c-section there.), so she traveled back to the United States to have the surgery.
She did come back to Africa, but instead of having them live in Ethiopia like the original plan was, Ariela moved them to Kenya to save her relationship because in Ethiopia, Biniyam had started using their house like a “studio” and according to his sisters had invited other women into their home.
Ariela didn’t want to stay there after it was speculated that Biniyam may have been unfaithful to her (there was never any proof of that, however) and moved them all to Kenya, but that wasn’t really going to be enough, especially with little Avi having medical needs and the fact that she never exactly meshed with the culture or Biniyam’s family.
So now they’re coming to the United States. Biniyam was a bit apprehensive, it’s not the first time that he’s been in the US and tried the American Spouse thing, his first wife was an American who bore him a son with a similar issue that also lives in the US, but he never sees his firstborn son, the Mother doesn’t really allow for a relationship between them.
Ariela has said that she does not want things to be that way between he and Avi and she says that she wants him to have a relationship with Biniyam, but in order to do that they’re going to have to be in the US. This promises to be a ride. Stay tuned!!!
