With the unrest happening right now in Ukraine, many cast members of ‘90 Day Fiancé’ have stopped to show their support. There are some, like Sasha Larin, who is supporting Russia in the attack and his fans aren’t very happy with him right now. He is from Russia and he has always had some pretty controversial views when it comes to the politics there. He is now being called out by fans and Ukraine cast members from 90 Day Fiancé.
’90 Day Fiancé’: Sasha’s Russia Support Post
If you remember, Sasha and his wife, Emily Larina, met when she was working in Russia and they were trying to get Sasha’s parents to move to the states to be closer to them and their family. Instead, they ended up moving back to Russia with their son to live closer to his family. Many fans of the show weren’t sure that this marriage would work out, but from what we have seen, they have really started to get closer and are very happy.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Sasha Larin Gets Backlash For Russia Support Amid Ukraine Invasion
In one of his latest Instagram posts, Sasha showed his full support for Vladimir Putin. He wrote, “You have to be a complete idiot if you think that Russia invaded Ukraine without any justified reason. I’m sorry, but I can’t read more about how my country is being mixed with dirt.” The comments started almost as soon as the post went up. One follower wrote, “Well he wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. Nothing has changed apparently.” Some of his followers even called him “brainwashed” and that he “grew up believing the propaganda.”
Many of the Ukrainian cast members were quick to point out that they took offense to his post and that they were not supportive of his words and actions. These cast members were Yara Zaya and Natalie Mordovtseva. Natalie also received some backlash because it seemed that she was making light of the issues going on in Ukraine right now and her family and friends are there. Yara made a heartbreaking post about her friends and family not having enough food and how scared she was for them.
The post of Sasha‘s has now disappeared, but his fans may no longer support him based on these words. Things are getting pretty tense in Ukraine and his fans feel that he should have just kept his mouth shut, but we all know how social media works. You can follow Sasha and his wife, Emily on their Instagram accounts, where they post pretty frequently.
