’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers have found that Rebecca Parrott has turned to social media to defend her daughter, Tiffany Smith and Tiffany’s (then) fiancé, Micah Smith after the couple was draged on Twitter during Sunday night’s broadcast of the show.
The young couple invited themselves along to the airport where 48-year-old Rebecca met up with her 27-year-old fiancé, Zied Hakimi after a long separation. TLC’s cameras followed the couple the last time they saw each other in person in Zied’s home country on 90DayFiance: Before the 90 Days.

Zied’s big crime? Being from Tunisia which is close to Morocco which is where Rebecca’s ex-husband is from.

Rather than letting poor Zied rest after a long flight (or let Mom Rebecca get some after such a lengthy separation), Tiffany and Micha demanded they get to know Zied. A.k.a. interrogate him within an inch of his limited-English-speaking-life.

After the episode aired, Rebecca posted a video to her Instagram, addressing the hate that her daughter and daughter’s fiancé were receiving online.
“Please understand that Tiffany and Micah are only trying to protect me, and they had never met him (Zied) before. They are going strictly off what they had to deal with when I had my last relationship with the Moroccan man.”
To be fair to Tiffany and Micah, it seems Rebecca isn’t so good at noticing red flags. This marriage to Zied will be Rebecca’s fourth. In all honesty, Rebecca should have had the backbone to tell her daughter “no” when she demanded to come to the airport, then take Zied out for a cross-examination, er, dinner the second he arrived in the USA.
Not one for self-reflection, the private detective turned chicken restaurant manager also threw the TLC production team under the bus, citing that her daughter wasn’t portrayed fairly on the show.
“Keep in mind that in any type of reality show situation, it tends to look the very worst it possibly could… Tiffany’s heart is so broken right now because everyone is angry at her and Micah. I would just ask everyone. Please be nice.”
It seems the post backfired though, with a fan retorting, “Wait, they’re upset cause (sic) people are being rude like they were rude when they met her fiancé?? The irony!”
It will be interesting to see how the relationship grows between Zied, Tiffany and Micah. Whatever their feelings toward Zied, the couple better get used to him. Seeing how giddy Rebecca was over her fiancé, it looks like the man is here to stay.
