In the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Patrick Mendes took his fiancé, Thais Ramone to meet his sister and his mother. His mother is suffering from lung cancer and she doesn’t have long to live so Patrick wanted her to meet Thais. His mother won’t be able to make it to the wedding, but she is pretty happy when she meets her. There are some moments though, that she can’t shake.

It seems that Patrick’s family has a history of getting married and divorced. His mother told the cameras that she had been married four times and we learned early on that Patrick had been married once before. His mother is very worried that this marriage to Thais may not work out and she wants her son to be happy, but the way that Thais is answering her questions, it doesn’t seem as if she is confident about getting married.

The couple‘s wedding is happening in the next week and they are going down to Orlando to get married. Patrick’s family is going to be on vacation there, so it just made sense for them to get married with the rest of the family present. There has been a lot of tension when it comes to these two and from the looks of it, Patrick’s mom senses that something is off.
Patrick tells the cameras, “Now I’m just in, like, survival mode. She can just pack her bags one night and she’s gone.” His mother did want to chat with Thais about possibly having children and that is when things got very tense. She told Thais that her grandchildren would be raised in the states and not in Brazil. Thais feels as if she has no voice in any of this and that Patrick has done everything prepare for the wedding and now his family telling her how to live.
Patrick’s mother told the cameras that she thinks Thais is confused and that she feels like she has to marry Patrick or it will complicate their relationship. There is no telling what Thais will do next and it seems that she is still very confused about whether or not she should marry Patrick.
