In the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Mohamed Abdelhamed felt like he needed to call his mom and check in with her. He has been talking to Yvette Arellano about how much he misses her and he felt that a phone call to her would help. He calls Hanan and they begin to talk about their relationship and it looks as if his mother is on Yvette’s side for some of their issues.
90 Day Fiancé: What Mohamed Tells His Mother
Mohamed tells the cameras, “I have a very strong relationship with my mom, but I usually pretend everything is okay so she doesn’t worry about me. So I haven’t reached out to my mom too much since I arrived in the United States.”

When Mohamed talks to his mother, they start talking about the differences that he has with Yve. He tells her that she doesn’t want to convert to Islam and that they have many “cultural differences.” His mother tells him, “We cannot force her or impose our traditions on her.”
His mother then adds, “You have to adapt yourself to the new environment that you’re in. Let her do what she wants, one by one she will understand the satiation. Just don’t try to control her and try to adjust yourself in a nice way without getting grumpy.” This really makes Mohamed upset and he thinks that his mother is on Yve’s side. He tells the cameras, “She’s completely on Yve’s side. And I didn’t expect that. I don’t agree with my mom, but what she says to me matters.”
Mohamed goes on to say, “I’m not gonna change. But I’m afraid if I don’t accept Yve for who she is she’s not gonna be happy with me. But what about my happiness to be comfortable in my life? So right now, I don’t know what to do.”
Yve and Mohamed really have had a lot of issues since he arrived in America. She will not convert to Islam and he doesn’t like her friends. She wants him to be part of her life with her friends, but he feels that they have judged him. Yve feels like he is trying to control her and she is a woman who is strong-willed and set in her ways, so she will not have this.
We will have to see what happens next with these two to see if they actually make it.
