Mahogany Roca, who is known from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, has recently abandoned the use of filters for her pictures and opted for a more plain look.

The Peruvian native is in a long-distance relationship with her American lover, Ben Rathbun. Initially, people were convinced that Ben was getting scammed online, with the assumption that Mahogany was deceiving him with her highly edited pictures on social media, leading to accusations that she was a possible catfish.
While that may have been the case, Roca has now shared the reason as to why she used to rely on photoshop for her photos and has declared that she is not an advocate for the application of filters anymore. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she shared a side-by-side picture of herself.
One included an image with the use of a filter and the other without. The post was captioned by the following comments: “That’s not me, don’t believe in social media.”
Despite the fact that Mahogany has been encouraging her 38,000 followers on Instagram to embrace self-love, her practice of editing her own photographs can be seen as contradictory.
Her most recent images even appear to imply that she may have had some breast surgery. Yet, she still has the courage to post unaltered photographs on social media despite her addiction to Photoshop. The fans on social media praised her coming clean.
A significant proportion of the fan base were of the view that she was looking a lot better since she decided to embrace her natural beauty. One person wrote: “Natural beauty. So much better,” while another person stated: “You are so naturally gorgeous.”
It is great to see Roca in a much better place with herself, and hopefully, things continue to stay that way. And that is the most important thing to remember moving forward.
