’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ spoilers indicate that on October 17th Aseulu posted a picture of himself, Kalani, and his two sons with the hash tag #daddysboys and #islandboys, and on the surface, this family seemed to be all smiles. A certain, welcome change from where they were back when the Happily Ever After tell-all aired.
They were having marital problems, Asuelu refused to social distance and kept putting Kalani and the kids and Kalani’s Mom who is immuno-compromised in danger because he wouldn’t stop playing volleyball or even wear a mask out. So Kalani made him quarantine at his Mom’s instead of with the rest of the family.

However it now looks like absence makes the heart grow fonder, and they look like they’re having a great time of it. However, it’s easy to smile for an instagram post, there’s no telling what has gone on behind the scenes.
Last time, we all witnessed that Asuelu is willing to do and say anything as long as it gets him back into Kalani’s good graces and he might just have wanted to come home and see his boys, if you want a particularly cynical way of looking at things.
Kalani might be all smiles now, but she has a way of always seeing the good in Asuelu, even when other people clearly see through his little games. I’d be curious to know what the rest of Kalani’s family thought about this move.
One commenter on Kalani’s IG page commented on the photoshoot saying this, “You can try, but he has to try too. Good luck to both of you. You have a great family worth fighting for.” to which Kalani responded with clapping and heart emojis, so it’s good that she actually wasn’t trying to defend Asuelu there, as so many other women would have done.
The question is now, if Asuelu’s actually legitimately willing to try, from the IG pictures it looks like it but it’s easy to lie in a picture, pictures can be touched up and edited and faked. We wonder if he’s actually taking any of the advice that the marital counselor they saw actually gave them or if that has continued to fall on deaf ears. For Kalani and the kid’s sake, I hope not.
