’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells that when we met Brandon Gibbs it looks like he was your classic golden-boy/only child. He’s from a small town where his parents run their own, successful business, a dog breeding kennel.
They also own a farm and it looks to be a working farm too, judging from the pigs and horses that they have. However, I sense a little resistance when it comes to Brandon’s new fiance coming in from Russia.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: So, will Julia clash with Brandon’s Mom?
Julia Trubkina is a go-go dancer, and while that may be a thing in Russia, it’s not so much a thing here in the states. Brandon’s Mom has already pointed out that people are going to get the wrong impression of Julia if she insists on doing the go-go dancing thing here in the US. In fact a lot of people here would just automatically assume that Julia is a stripper.
Julia insists that she has never done any kind of nude dancing or taken her clothes off, so there’s that. I’m not sure if she’s telling the truth or just covering herself (no pun intended) until she gets to the United States but, the culture in Russia is very different than it is in the US.
They have different laws about censorship, some would argue that in some cases they are more stringent, however I have no idea about what their entertainment laws are. Either way, the culture is just different.
I do hope for Brandon’s sake, since he seems to be such a naive, easygoing guy, that this doesn’t turn into a headache for him. Julia seems a bit headstrong already (as we saw from the conversation about not being able to bring all of her coats with her) and while he did offer to buy her a whole load of new ones he also says that they will have to stay on the farm for awhile yet in order to save money to move out and get their own place.
Julia didn’t really seem to understand that so one wonders just how she’s going to react when she gets there and Brandon’s Mom expects her to adopt this new role as a farm girl? It doesn’t look like Julia’s ever really been on a farm before. How will that work? Stay tuned!!!
