It is pretty obvious on 90 Day Fiancé that Jibri Bell’s parents do not endorse the relationship that he has with his fiancé, Miona Bell. Miona sat down with his mother to talk about their elopement and how they do plan on having a big family wedding in about a year so they can save money.
Miona mentioned that they would be having something small so they can get her paperwork going for her green card. This will be out of state, so his mother said they didn’t have enough notice, so they wouldn’t be able to come. Now it seems that his step-father has his own opinion on what is going on with these two.

Jibri’s mother tells his step-father all about the chat that they had. She explains the big wedding to him and he looks baffled while she is speaking. His dad thought that they would be getting married in a year, but his mother explains that they are actually getting married to get her K-1 visa in a few months and he was under the impression that they were not getting married at all. Which is pretty much the impression we were all under.

His mother goes into more information about the smaller wedding being out of South Dakota and that Miona mentioned having it at Joshua Tree. Her husband says, “That doesn’t seem like a compromise to me.”
His mother tells him, “So I just dropped it and said if this is what they are both deciding what is best for them, then we are going to support them the best way that we can, which we said we would. I’m trying to be positive.” Her husband then says, “Um…I don’t know a single person that would support this marriage. I mean honestly, I feel like, um… I don’t want to support a trainwreck.”
His mother then tells him that she doesn’t want the way they feel about Miona to come in between their relationship with Jibri and she feels like them supporting the marriage is the only way that they can show him this. They agreed that they will have to show Jibri their support and that is all they can do right now.
We will have to wait and see what happens next for Miona and Jibri and see just how much his parents do support him.
