’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Brandon Gibb can ask a girl to marry him, and then completely mentally check out when it comes to planning any of the wedding. I’m guessing he expected his Mom (and probably her Mom, before he met fiancé Julia Trubkina) and the bride and her friends to completely plan the wedding from start to finish while he completely sat back and played the typical ‘groom’ role where he did nothing but smoked a cigar at the bachelor party.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: That’s not the way most modern weddings are planned, I got news for him.
Usually, most younger generation grooms at least have a little say in what happens at their own wedding. It’s clear that Julia wants him to be a little involved, and I think she’s shocked and a little hurt by just how hands-off Brandon is being about this whole experience.
He doesn’t know anything about the church, he doesn’t know anything about the guests that are going to be invited to the wedding – that last one is just bad form because Julia is not going to have any of her own family there on her special day to support her, so Brandon could at least kind of give her a crash course on who his Mom could possibly be inviting.
Being surrounded by 50-75 people that you don’t know would be harrowing even on a regular day, much less your own wedding!
We finally found out that the reason why Julia chose the date of May 9th is because that was the day that Brandon sent her the message saying, “You look like my future wife.” though, not that Brandon would know that because it seems that when he got in the presence of both his parents and the preacher his brain completely melted!
He says he just forgot, but Julia took this to mean that he doesn’t care about the wedding at all. He made up some bogus story about 9 being her favorite number but you could tell he was pulling that out of thin air to cover for the fact that he’s just that unobservant.
This reduced poor Julia to tears, wondering why they were even getting married because she didn’t feel like h cared anymore. Does he? Stay tuned!!!
