90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast member, Daniele Gates has been sharing her marriage with Yohan Geronimo on the show. They have not seen eye to eye on practically everything and now it looks as if things have gotten really bad between them.
In a recent Instagram Live video, she shared with fans her thoughts and it came out that she was trying to explain to them about abuse. The Instagram account, Kiki and Kibbitz shared this video and fans were shocked at what they heard.

As Daniele was speaking, one of her fans asked her what it would mean to work on her marriage with Yohan. Daniele said, “I’m not sure what you mean. Do you mean tolerate abuse? Do you mean tolerate lying?” Then a fan told her that she needed to pick her battles.

She said, “Give me an example of a good battle. I’m just curious when people say that and then say ‘just have patience.’ Like patience is going to make a man not be abusive financially, physically, and emotionally.”
Of course, as soon as this video was posted. Fans had a lot to say about it. In fact, one of the first comments was actually from Daniele.
She wrote, “You can say whatever you want about me, but be careful when creating platforms that support the abuse of women. These comment threads make me so sad. Women deserve abuse because they marry 33-year-olds? I’m Live with this man next to me, say I have receipts and images, and you don’t believe me? This is why women don’t speak up, and suffer in silence instead of coming forward. You have no idea what I experience daily, and no one deserves, or should ever “expect” this kind of behavior from anyone. I hope women reading these comments ignore all this noise and understand that other people’s ignorance shouldn’t stop anyone from speaking their truth. Don’t make accusations about people without any evidence. I’ve never lied to my husband, about ANYTHING, and though validation isn’t necessary for me, my safety and the safety of other women in these situations is. Going Live and finally being honest about who and what I was living with made me safer at that moment. Reality TV is one thing, women not believing women is a whole other animal. Be better.”
One follower of the account wrote, “Having people diminish what you’re going through…is disgusting. Just bc someone else has never experienced this doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. You are brave for speaking up, many women stay silent due to the mistreatment from others… stay strong and always know your worth.”
