’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that host Shaun Robinson brought up an interesting phenomenon after they initally discussed the fact that Angela Deem Illesanmi (who wasn’t present by the time this discussion was had) got breast implants.
Michael said that after Angela’s breast reduction he thought the doctor had taken a little bit too much, but after today, after seeing what Angela now had to offer (ahem), he was quite pleased with the results and even though Angela had previously told him that she was going out to get some ‘good attention’ he seemed pretty down to take her back.

Shaun Robinson then brought up the fact that in a previous interview, Michael had divulged the fact that he was breast-fed until he was nine years old. Yes, that’s right, not nine months, not nineteen months, nine years old! He looked a bit sheepish over that fact and said that he was the youngest born of his Mom’s, so maybe that had something to do with it.
But even Kalani, who’s still currently breastfeeding her two year old, maintained that nine was way too old and that there was no way she could or would keep something like that up for the next seven years. (And who could blame her?)
One might maintain that maybe in Nigeria, the weaning age is older and that it’s common for older children to breastfeed in that country, but that wouldn’t be the case. If you look up weaning ages by country, you’ll see the average age for weaning a child in Nigera is 17 months.
So, Michael’s Mom, saint that she may be, kept this up for about 7 years too long it would seem. Yara Zoya Dufren said that this explained why he liked big chests specifically, and Michael explained that when he was little he would be home with his Mom all day and would ‘play with her’, if anyone’s ever had nursing children one can only imagine what that entails – although we do think it’s a little weird to have a child over the age of five that’s still breastfeeding… maybe there was another reason, but Michael’s Mom was not there, so we could not ask her.
