’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Evelin revealed while dress shopping with her sisters that over a year ago when she and Corey were on vacation together that she and Corey went and actually got married to each other, so legally, they are done, but they’ve just decided to do the ceremony for the family’s sake.
This is pretty interesting considering that Evelin is still insisting that Corey pay for everything like a traditional wedding, even though that’s as non-traditional as you can get, having a legal ceremony first followed by a big celebration. It’s definitely not in the handbook, usually the legal and ceremonial parts are done at the same time.

During this dress shopping excursion, and after a few glasses of wine she let it slip to both of her sisters about Corey’s Peruvian girl on the side, Jenny! She said that Corey told her initially that it was a mistranslation, that the American word for ‘friend’ apparently meant ‘girlfriend’ in the Spanish dialect that they were speaking in Peru, but none of us are that stupid.
Evelin said that even though they were broken up at the time that it still hurt her to know that he could have a girlfriend and be introducing her to friends as such. Athough he assured Evelin that he had just known her a week. Cool story, bro.
So what does this mean for Corey and Evelin’s wedding? Well, it’s still on, it’s not like they were one and done ceremony-wise like Brandon and Julia Gibb, but perhaps that’s why Corey keeps trying to cut corners on the ceremony part.
He knows that they’re actually married so he doesn’t see the fuss in trying to go all out with a celebration when technically, they’ve already started their lives together. But Evelin wants this ceremony, she probably wants it so that she can say that she celebrated her wedding with her family, which is something that a lot of people want.
But now that she’s revealed that they’re already married, this explains why Corey isn’t taking things quite so seriously. We’ll see where that lands him. Stay tuned!!!
