Yazan wanted to get married right away and have Brittany covert to Islam, but she had other plans. It has never been her idea to convert and now Brittany is coming clean about the religion thing, among other things.

Brittany is not afraid to hide how she is feeling and has started to open up more as the season goes on. “People definitely have the wrong impression of me and I feel like Yazan has a cute way of telling his side of the story. Honestly, I feel like Yazan is like that with any woman that he loves, you know what I mean? He was lie that with his ex-girlfriend. He was hooked on her, he really loved her. When he’s with me, he really loves me, he wants to make a new life with me, he wanted to make a new life with his ex as well. I don’t think he values his family and religion as much as people think he does.”

Brittany went on to say, “I think, you knw, he really wants to have a different kind if life with me, and he just has so much pressure from his family that he’s sometimes not able to follow through with those promises that he made me because the pressure gets to him. I think he really wants to live a life with me. I think he wants to have that westernized lifestyle. And he loves me, we get along great, we laugh together, we have so much fun, we go out together, we do everything together, and that’s what people don’t see. We’re the best of friends.”
Brittany has taken a lot of time to learn more about Yazan’s culture and lifestyle. She says that it has changed her as a person and she is happy about that. Brittany told her fans that as the season finishes up, we will see some very explosive fights over the divorce being unresolved and drama with his family.
