When Brandon shared a picture of him and Julia kissing, he captioned it, “I keep hearing this question from everyone. And they ask me my opinion about children. I think it’s hard to be 100% ready for this, but I think part of me is already saying why not start trying?
We had a conversation with Julia, but she said no. I do not have the right to force or do something without her approval. (I’m talking about children.)” As soon as fans saw this, they were quick to share their thoughts about such a bizarre post.
One fan asked, “What do you mean ‘WE’ had a conversation? Who is ‘we’? and why is there a ‘we’ and not an ‘I’?” One more added, “I hope this conversation that “we” had has no correlation to the fact that Julia is turning 30 in October…it’s archaic, medically misguided, and offensive to perpetuate the mindset that women “expire” at 30 or are “behind” on starting a family…make these choices privately with Julia-frankly, it’s embarrassing that you’ve involved social media (and possibly your parents) in such an intimate and nuanced phase of your relationship. I think you owe Julia an apology.”
One more wrote, “NO you cannot make/force her to have children HOWEVER if you do want children she should take your feelings into consideration, I mean her wants & feelings aren’t the only valid ones in that relationship.”
A final wrote, “Ummm I think this is a bit exploitative. This is between you & your wife.. not for Instagram’s knowledge.. please take it down out of respect for her. She will get backlash for something as silly & small as this. The internet is crazy. Just sayin’.”
