The new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is here and we are still meeting new couples. One of the newest introduced is Meisha Johnson and her boyfriend, Nicola. They really don’t have that much in common other than the fact that they are devout Catholics.
Meisha had a spiritual awakening and saw angels in her home and decided that she needed to convert to Catholicism. She quit her job in television reporting to work for the church. She has two teenage daughters and has been divorced for over a decade.

However, she is dating a man in Israel who is 46 years old and wants nothing more than to be with her. The thing is… he is still a virgin and has only had one girlfriend in his entire life. Now that Meisha is getting ready to fly to Israel to meet him for the first time, the red flags are building up.

One of Meisha’s major concerns is how different she and Nicola are. She clearly has some sexual experiences and is worried that intimacy may not be what she thinks with him.
She used to be a party girl and grew up in Philadelphia. She actually took part in a competition called “Sexiest Singles in Philadelphia” and from what she says, she has had a lot of experience in the love department.
Converting was easy for her to do, but she felt that she was pretty lonely when it came to love. “Post conversion, things got real lonely real fast. The things that I was interested in doing were starting to change.
All I could talk about what the Bible and going to church and I could just feel people kind of go, ‘That’s too much’ and I understood it, but it felt very lonely.” Meisha feels that everything is just “so in sync” with Nicola.
Her friend, Taylor told her that she had some concerns about Nicola though. She asked her, “So you’re not worried that he’s a virgin? Intimacy isn’t everything but it is a big part of a relationship and certainly a marriage.”
Meisha told the cameras, “While I admire his convictions, at the same time, it makes me worried knowing that I need certain things like affection. A lot of affection.”
Will Meisha and Nicola make it or will his celibacy be the ending factor in their relationship? We will have to wait and see what happens next on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. It airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
