One of the most controversial couples on 90 Day Fiancé is Paul Staehle and Karine Staehle. These two met online and shortly after they started chatting, they fell in love and Paul traveled to Brazil to meet her face to face. They got married in 2017, but we have seen their relationship becoming really unstable and things have just gotten worse.

Karine and Paul have two sons, Pierre and Ethan. They are still small children and they have been exposed to a lot of interesting behaviors from their parents. Paul took some videos of Karine beating him up and posted them on his Instagram account. Of course, everyone saw them and they were reported to Child Protective Services by fans on social media.

Then he shared a video from their children’s playroom and in it, Karine was passed out. Paul made the assumption that she was either drunk or had taken some pills. Needless to say, he came home to find her this way and felt that was no way for a mother to act.
The children were given to Paul’s parents, but he ended up kidnapping Pierre and taking him for the weekend. His parents had no idea where he was so they called CPS on him again. The children were then taken away from him and they are now in foster care.
The couple has lost custody of the children and Karine wanted to share with her fans what happened with the custody hearing.
She wrote, “I come here to say that my children are not with me yet, but I can see them. I can’t take it anymore and there are times when I want to talk about what the 3 of us are going through. I’m always a good mother and I’m going through it, it’s not just me who suffers, my children suffer too. I will never stop fighting for you two. Pierre and Ethan, you are my life.”
Karine can’t really say much about the legal issues that she and Paul are going through, but from what we have seen, Paul is hiding in Brazil and she is still trying her best to get custody of her children and be with them again.
