In the last episode of 90 Day Fiancé, we saw Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone going to Las Vegas to take a little trip and meet his other brother. During their visit, Patrick learned that Thais hasn’t even told her father why she is in the states and she can’t tell him that she is getting married because he is so protective and jealous. She seemed to laugh it off, but this has really been eating away at Patrick.
90 Day Fiancé: A Guy’s Night Out
In the newest episode of the show, Patrick goes out with his friend and his brother, John Mendes for a guy’s night out and to have some beers and let off steam. They are certain that something is really bothering him and he decides to share some information with them.

His friend tells him that “it was nice that Thais let you out of the house for once.” Patrick then tells his friend that things are different now that she is living in the states. When he asked about Vegas, Patrick tells him, “Vegas was a lot. She tried to drag me to a wedding chapel and get married. That was kind of interesting. And when she met Matt, I found out that she hasn’t even told her dad that we’re getting married.” His brother and friend both agreed that they didn’t like that it seems like she has got to be hiding more from him.
He goes on to say, “She doesn’t want to disappoint her dad.” John then goes into the argument about who or what would be the disappointment. He then tells the cameras, “I don’t know any reason why she would not tell her father. Like that’s your father. I don’t understand it.” John tells Patrick, “You’re a great guy, you make a good living, you care about her, you love her. Like, does he not accept you?”
Patrick tells John that he does like him and he feels like they have a pretty good relationship. They have had lunch and beers together and he even got him a Father’s Day gift, so he still isn’t sure why Thais would hide this from him. He informs his friend and John that he won’t get married to her until she tells her father that the reason why she is here is to marry him.
