Many of the 90 Day Fiancé cast members have been showing their worry for Ukraine as they have been faced with some unrest. Varya Malina, who is from Russia found herself in a little bit of trouble with fans when she made some comments on her Instagram about the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. Not only is she already getting backlash because of her love for Geoffrey Paschel, who is now a convicted abuser, but now she has shared some comments about Russia and Ukraine that are not the best.

Natalie Mordovtseva is a good friend of Varya’s as well and she got a lot of backlashes when she showed her support for Geoffrey. Now it looks like she is making some insensitive comments about the war between Russia and Ukraine as well. Keep in mind, Natalie is from Ukraine.

Varya posted on her Instagram Story, which is now deleted, and Reddit users shared it. The photo was of Natalie and Varya smiling and she captioned it, “The Ukraine and Russian relations that work.”
This Story got a lot of criticism and one Reddit user wrote, “I see two awful people incapable of having a lasting relationship.” There were other comments about the picture that Varya was just trying to make light of the situation going on in Ukraine right now. Natalie has gotten a lot of backlash about it too because her Instagram has been filled with posts about her and nothing about her friends and family who are in Ukraine still.
Reddit users kept going with the comments too. One wrote, “I wonder when the commissary funding and the collect calls will start getting less and less or rejected as Varya realizes that this dude is not coming home anytime soon.” More fans called her “stupid” and pointed out that she is just trying to use her fame for as long as she can.
Many other 90 Day Fiancé cast members, such as Yara Zaya, have posted that they are very worried and scared for their friends and family that are in Ukraine. Does it seem like Varya is making light of things? Natalie also doesn’t seem to be showing any type of empathy for the people in her home country and that has really surprised her fans. We hope that they can begin to take this seriously.
