On 90 Day Fiancé, we have been introduced to Jibri and Miona Bell. The couple is one of the new couples on this season and they have been getting a lot of backlash already. In the second episode of the season, Jibri knows that Miona doesn’t want to live in South Dakota, but with money so tight to get her to the states, he had to move back in with his parents.
He just wants to work on music with his band and get married, but it seems like everyone else has something else in mind for him.
90 Day Fiancé: Jibri and David
While Jibri is at the car wash, he calls his best friend, David. He mentions that they haven’t talked that much so he wanted to touch base with him. David is a refugee from Serbia, so it is clear that they have a lot in common now that Miona is in Jibri’s life.
90 Day Fiancé: Jibri Bell and Conflicts with His Best Friend
He mentioned that he dated David’s sister and they started a band together. Because of COVID, they haven’t been touring, but the idea is that they want to make more music together when they can. As he is giving us some background on David, he mentions that Miona doesn’t get along with him. Another red flag added to this relationship.
David calls Jibri and tells him that now everyone wants the bad to do shows again and he is excited. He asks Jibri if he has time for that or what is going on in his life. Jibri tells him that Miona is coming soon and David’s response isn’t the best, but what did we expect? David then tells him that everyone in the band is ready to get back on the road and they are all just waiting on him, but he’s just waiting on Miona.
When Jibri tells David that she will be there in two days, he tells him “good luck” and then goes on to say that he isn’t sure that they will work and he has some serious doubts about them. He tells Jibri that “from the beginning, she came off rude. I didn’t like her vibe and the way she was acting.”
Then it comes out that Jibri spent the pandemic with her in Serbia and he ended up putting the band on the back burner. He feels that now the band feels like it was all her fault for breaking them up.
We are ready to see what happens with the band when Miona returns.
