‘90 Day Fiancé’ has a rabid fan base and several fans who fancy themselves to be “Day-tectives”, uncovering secrets from the cast’s past.
However, the sleuthing has taken a turn for the dark as fans believe they may have uncovered a murder that occurred and was subsequently brushed under the carpet by the 90 Day production team!
It all began in 2017 when a couple was used in the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2 promos but were never actually seen in the show.

Just to refresh you, season 2 was Darcey and Jesse and Paul Staehle and Karine Staehle’s second time round and the first time we met Tarik and Hazel, Jon and Rachael and is responsible for the rise of Angela Deem . We also met Marta- a good catholic girl who was a stripper like her mother and her mother’s mother before her, dating a strict Muslim man, Daya.
Marta and Daya were only briefly seen on a couple of episodes before quietly disappearing from the 90 Day conscious. However, they aren’t who we are talking about

No one knows who these two are and even Paul Staehle asked who they were and why we never saw them on the show.
Without any answers from the 90 Day production team, it was concluded these two were just models used for the promos, but then, that was never done before or has been done since. It has always been real couples used in the promotional materials.
Rumors began to circulate that this pair was a real couple but TLC abruptly cut them from the show after the promos had already gone out…but why?
Now a blind item has surfaced from “someone in the know” and it’s a whole lot darker than anyone expected.
The anonymous poster alleged that the network hoped no one noticed the couple who appeared in promos but never on the show and that the reason they were not seen was because the man was not properly vetted and had a record of stalking and sexual assault. He had also spent time behind bars.
They then alleged that he traveled to visit his foreign girlfriend in her poor country and “after a couple of unpleasant weeks that should have thrown up red flags for the makers of the show” the American male MURDERED his foreign partner!
EXCUSE ME????
It was further said he is in prison in that country and will stay there for life and because it is a poorer country, the network was able to throw some money at the problem to keep it all hidden.
While it all sounds very rumor-esque, we do know TLC has a pretty poor history of vetting their stars- Geoffrey Paschel springs to mind instantly!
90 Day-tectives have jumped on the case after seeing the blind item on @Truecrime_jankie ‘s Instagram but no one has been able to uncover much.
Any search of murder related to 90 Day Fiancé goes back to DJ Doug Wooten who was seen on an episode where Angela was looking for a US location to marry Michael. Wooten was arrested on charges of felony murder in connection to the death of 54-year-old Marcos Ramirez.
Diving a little deeper and darker, stories of Leida Margaretha from season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé (who is probably the most universally hated cast member ever) allegedly killed two people AND her unborn child while illegal street racing while pregnant in Japan. Apparently, her daddy threw some of his money at that tragedy to keep it from making big news, too.
