Gino and Jasmine’s appearance on 90 Day: The Last Resort’s season 2 has left some fans confused about the couple’s current relationship status. According to Jasmine’s Instagram, she may have already moved on a long time ago with a new boyfriend named Matt Branis.
Jasmine and Gino first appeared and met in person on Before the 90 Days season 5 after 9 months of long-distance dating through a sugar-daddy site.
The couple’s financial and jealousy issues would become clear as day during their time on the show with Jasmine constantly hounding Gino for money (despite him not even having a job) and Gino messing up the visa process and refusing to hire a lawyer.
Gino’s mistake of not mentioning Jasmine’s children on her application would cause a 2-year delay on her visa. After Gino refused to pay for a lawyer (after paying for Jasmine’s expensive plastic surgery endeavors), Jasmine predictably flipped out.
Along with the usual dozens of insults between the two, Jasmine threatened to leave Gino (again). It didn’t take long for some cheating allegations to sprout right after the recordings of Happily Ever After?’s season 8. This is where Matt steps in.
Matt VS. Gino
It has been rumored that Jasmine is currently staying with her new boyfriend in Detroit after cheating on Gino with him.
However, previous stories on Jasmine’s Instagram have shown her supposed continued love for Gino with caption quotes such as, “Happy days… I love you babe” with an emoji of a bald man and some hearts (We all know who that is…). So what’s going on? Is Jasmine still married and blatantly cheating on Gino?
Allegedly, Jasmine met Matt at a Planet Fitness in Michigan all the way back in November of 2023. This would line up with the rumor of Jasmine’s cheating as she was also allegedly kicked out by Gino to live with her new boyfriend in December of that same year.
Multiple posts on Jasmine’s Instagram show a new bed and living room that fans suspect is Matt’s house along with Jasmine seemingly soft-launching her new relationship too.
However, despite all of the clear evidence of Jasmine dating Matt, Jasmine has never confirmed anything about her relationship status. She has actually doubled down on her still being married to Gino instead.
This is despite there being other rumors of Gino moving on too! Reddit user Comprehensive_Half13 noticed a strange comment on one of Gino’s Instagram posts by @hotpinkguitar with Gino responding with lots of hearts, kissy faces, and fire emojis. Very unlike him if you ask me.
Why Aren’t Gino & Jasmine Being Honest?
Putting all of the information together, it just seems like a confusing and cloudy mess at first with “allegedly” sprinkled all around. But in my opinion, this can be explained clearly in three words.
Fame, money, and an NDA. The best (and nicest) explanation is that Jasmine and Gino cannot confirm anything about their new relationships until after their NDA with TLC expires. After that, Jasmine may switch to quickly confirming her relationship with Matt to rub it into Gino’s face, but that line seems to have already been not-so-secretly crossed.
There is an obvious advantage to keeping everything “alleged” instead of confirmed. With Gino and Jasmine’s new appearances on 90 Day: The Last Resort, there is a higher possibility for the two to appear on other spinoff shows such as The Single Life for example.
Not to mention that the more that the two hint at their hidden lives, lie, and show up on camera, the more interest (and paychecks) are guaranteed to keep rolling in, and we know just how much the two looove keeping their cash in check.
