At the age of 24, the Mexican woman had a romance with Jonathan Rivera, who was 10 years older than her. They had a good relationship and ended up getting married. Unfortunately, their marriage ended in a divorce due to their marital issues.
Ever since her split from her ex-spouse and her relationship with boxing star Noel Mikaelian, she has flourished in the U.S. However, her most recent Instagram post suggested that she was having some difficulties with the United States and still held a fondness for her birthplace.
In the pictures here, we can see a variety of images from Mexico showing that she is happy and in a good place. The post was captioned by the following comments: “I thought I was depressed but it was just America.” This did not resonate well with the fans for the following reasons.
First of all, throughout the years, Fernanda has done very well in the United States. She has also established a great life in the country and achieved plenty of career objectives. Secondly, it came across as though she was being ungrateful as other people in her shoes would have grasped the chance to move to the US and seize the opportunities that were on offer.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. One person wrote: “So stay where your’[e] at,” while another person stated: “The boots don’t work. Try something else.”
Her intention may not have been to offend anyone, but given that she does have an American fan base, it is safe to say that she should choose her words more carefully moving forward. So there you have it folks.
