Ex-cast member Deavan Clegg of 90 Day Fiancé recently gave her followers a good news update about her son Taeyang’s health, in spite of his battle with leukemia.

Deavan and her former spouse Jihoon Lee were on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way series 1 and 2. Deavan migrated to South Korea so Jihoon could take part in Taeyang’s life; however, the two did not succeed in reconciling and Deavan moved back to the US with Taeyang and her daughter Priscilla.
Eventually, Deavan disclosed that her three-year-old Taeyang had become sick and was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Recently, Deavan posted on Instagram with a positive update about Taeyang’s recovery process.
She included a few pictures of him and a throwback image of Taeyang with his prior longer hair. Deavan then reported that Taeyang’s hair was beginning to regrow after he went through chemotherapy treatments. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Taeyang’s AI photos made me shed a tear. Love these.”
By contrast, Jihoon has been completely absent from his son’s life. He hasn’t seen Taeyang since leaving South Korea and does not mention anything about him or his health on social media. In fact, he removed all the photographs of Taeyang from his Instagram page.
Fortunately for Taeyang, Deavan’s current partner Christopher Park is very involved in Taeyang’s care. The response on social media was positive towards Deavan. A significant proportion of the fan base praised Deavan for going out of her way to make sure that her son was in a good place, as they were happy to see him.
One person wrote: “Taeyang has many people praying for his recovery soon. God Bless Taeyang in this journey.” As long as Deavan has a strong support network, then she should be just fine.
