When we first met David Murphey on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, he was dating a woman named Lana. She stood him up many times even when he traveled all the way to Ukraine to meet her. David chatted her up on a Ukraine chat line where he spent about seven years and thousands of dollars trying to make their love work. The last time that he was in Ukraine, he did propose after meeting her and she seemed excited to marry him. The couple ended up splitting up, but it seems that Lana has some updates of her own.
90 Day Fiancé: David and Lana’s Updates
Back in May of 2021, David did make an Instagram post that he and Lana were back together. He told his fans then that Lana was working and that her new job was as a police investigator. He also pointed out that they were getting ready to go on a vacation to Cancun. He is still waiting for her to get a tourist visa so that she can come to the United States.
This was the last time that we saw anything about her from David and this made it seem like they didn’t go on that vacation together and that they may not be together anymore. She had a question and answer session on her private Instagram account and one of her fans asked her, “Do you talk with David?” When she answered the question, it made her fans a little shocked. She told them that she isn’t currently talking to him. Then they asked if they were still together and she answered, “No.”
There were a lot of questions about David that Lana answered and it still seems as if they are not together anymore and this could be the main reason that David hasn’t posted about her in a long time. One fan asked, “How is everything going in Ukraine with the mandates?” She told them, “In practice, nothing new. This is very disappointing.”
It seems that Lana didn’t get a tourist visa and since they didn’t get married, a K-1 visa isn’t possible now. We will have to keep an eye on David‘s Instagram account for any updates. Lana’s account is private, but Reddit users will often share screen shots from her account to prove that she is still around and that she and David clearly aren’t together anymore. We will just have to wait and see what happens.
