Just a few weeks ago, we all heard about the separation of 90 Day Fiancé alum Evelyn Cormier and David Vasquez. They were married for four years and Evelyn didn’t make a big announcement about why she was leaving him until just this past weekend. She has started to open up more to her fans about the “mental and emotional abuse” that happened while they were married.

Evelyn and David met online. He saw her band on Facebook and just knew he had to talk to her. They started dating online and then he came to visit her from Spain. They fell in love and got married in 2017. At the time, David was 27 and she was only 18.

There have been a lot of rumors going around about these two for months. Evelyn kept telling her fans that they were doing just fine and the reason she wasn’t wearing her ring and then she told fans that she models a lot and they asked her to take her ring off sometimes or she didn’t want to lose it. She told fans that they were more in love than ever. Clearly this wasn’t true.
Evelyn did something very shocking to her fans. She recorded an Instagram Live that has been deleted, and this is where she told fans that she was getting a divorce from David. She told her fans, “I’ve endured mental and emotional abuse because of a painless, sexless, and narcissist relationship. This a good reminder that not everything you see on social media is reality.” She then told her fans that she is just putting her trust in God and that she will have a lot of healing to do in her future.
David was quick to reply to her post as well. He told his fans, “God knows the truth about all our marital problems. Out of respect to our marriage that lasted four years, I wish not to disclose any more details.”
Reddit users were quick to bring up their own theories about their marriage and even the fact that Evelyn loved New Hampshire so much that she was probably looking for an excuse to get back out there. No matter what, our thoughts are with these two as they face the end of their marriage.
