On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Cleo and Christian are still having some intense conversations about their future. On their first date, things went badly when Christian wanted to go to a very loud bar.
This was very uncomfortable for Cleo since she is autistic. She found herself very thrown off by the fact that he was talking to all of the women in the bar except Cleo. Christian did feel bad about it and decided that he would make it up to her by having a sweet date at her house.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Spoilers – Christian Has Intense Feelings About Cleo’s Autism and How It Will Affect Their Future
They made dinner, had wine, and he showed her his VR headset. They had a great time together and of course, Cleo thought that it would lead to sex. This was not at all what happened.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Spoilers – Christian’s Fears
Even though Cleo got the impression from Christian that he was flirty and enjoyed making the first move, when they are face to face, it’s a lot different. He hasn’t made any moves and they have only kissed a few times.
According to him, he is worried about being rejected by her and that is why he hasn’t made the first move. This isn’t the only issue that has been coming up between them though.
Cleo’s autism is another issue that Christian isn’t sure he can’t get over. He noticed that she got “really overwhelmed” when they were at the bar.
This observation made Cleo a little confused and she told him, “Maybe it’s just me being cliche, or I don’t know, boring or whatever. I feel like a first date with a girl, you kind of want to make it about you two, and you felt the need to make it about a larger group of girls. You did not really include me in the conversation rather than mentioning my name. I wouldn’t go on a first date with you, and then start talking to a group of dudes and sit next to them and tell them I’m from Italy and everything when I’m literally there to get to know you.”
Christian doesn’t want to be insensitive about her being on the spectrum, but there are viewers who feel as if he is. He told her, “I feel like you’d have fears that everywhere that we go this is gonna be like a common occurrence, or might be hesitant to go out to a place again with me.”
Is Cleo’s autism going to be an issue? Be sure to watch 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days to find out. It airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
