If you have been following 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on TLC, you have seen Kim Menzies with her boyfriend, Usman Umar. She flew to Tanzania to meet him and he just wanted to be friends for most of her trip. She continued to bring up sleeping with him and was so upset when he never would. When they finally did the deed, she had never been more excited. The couple had some big fights because he wouldn’t have sex with her and now it looks as if she is telling her fans that she was pretty embarrassed for acting this way on TV.
’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’: Kim Menzies Apologizes For Pressuring Usman Umar To Have Sex
Kim opened up to her fans about the regrets she has about being on the show. She told them, “Once I saw it back, and I would never in my life… it was so bad. And the criticism I got for that, even now I still get it. And I’ve apologized and I’ve put it to bed. But I feel mortified. I embarrassed myself. I embarrassed Usman, I embarrassed my son. And the crazy thing was I was drinking a lot and I’m not using alcohol as an excuse, but I had three bottles of champagne because I was nervous. I was really nervous about this young guy and I am, 50 years old, and I’m like, ‘Hey’. I was nervous.”
She went on, “But the way I acted, I was mortified. And I will never live that down, I don’t think. And I got a lot of people that were victims of sexual assault and all that. And I’m ashamed of it.” She said her son called her and was very disappointed in her actions. She said, “He was very disappointed in me. He was embarrassed because people don’t think, they just don’t DM me, they DM him, which I don’t understand why, but it was bad. It was really bad. He was very upset with me. He didn’t deserve for me to say something like that, because he’s always been so good.”
She admits that she shouldn’t have ever pressured Usman to have sex with her and she should have taken the Zara incident differently. She still feels really bad about it all, but realizes that all she can do is apologize for her actions.
The season of the show is finishing up and we are excited to see what is next for 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on TLC.
