On 90 Day Fiancé, we have been introduced to Kobe Blaise and his wife, Emily Bieberly. These two battled it out when Kobe got to America from Cameroon and viewers were pretty sure that this marriage would not make it. Emily was very critical of everything Kobe did with their child, Koban, and even criticized him when he was trying to help on her family’s farm.
When these two were good, they were very good, but the bad moments seemed to outweigh the good. They did end up hashing most things out and made it to the altar, but now it looks as if their followers on social media are giving them backlash for taking advantage of Emily’s father.
90 Day Fiancé: Emily’s Father Foots The Bills
When Emily moved back from China due to the pandemic, she had to shack up with her parents, in their basement. While raising her toddler there, she was working as a nanny part-time and her father was paying most of her bills. This also meant that he was probably paying for the sponsorship of Kobe while he was in the 90-day process.
90 Day Fiancé: Are Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise Really Taking Advantage of Her Father?
Emily’s father also asked her not to get pregnant under his roof, but we all know that she failed on that one. There are many reasons that fans can see that these two took full advantage of her father and now Kobe and Emily are opening up to their fans about it.
Emily wanted to talk to fans about her father and the fact that people think she is taking advantage of him. She told Entertainment Tonight, “Well, you know you only see one side of our life. My dad is a saint, he literally would do anything for any of- there’s five of us- for any of his children. And he let Kobe move in here. He’s never met Kobe before. I think that shows a lot about my parents. They’re like, ‘Sure. He can live with us. That’s fine. We’ve met him a couple of times on Zoom. Whatever.’ And before I was pregnant, I was gone all the time. I basically told people, I’m like, ‘I didn’t really live here. I slept here, but I was gone all day long.'”
It looks as if they are still living with her parents now that they have Scarlet. Emily added, “I don’t think I take advantage of his kindness. He’s very open arms about it. And even now he’s like, ‘Move out when you’re ready.’ Because we’ve been looking for a house, but the market is terrible right now and there’s nothing we love. We do pull our weight around the house, so it’s not like we just sit here and do nothing.”
Keep an eye on Kobe and Emily on their social media accounts and on the second part of the Tell-All on TLC on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST.
