‘90 Day Fiancé’ star of several seasons, Colt and his wife, Vanessa who audiences got to know during Colt’s appearance on 90 Day: The Single Life season 1 have shared with fans that they have suffered a tragic loss.
Vanessa was pregnant with baby number 1, but before the couple could share the wonderful news, Vanessa suffered a miscarriage.
The newlyweds have said they are understandably devastated and heartbroken after losing their baby who would have been born around April 21, 2022.
Colt, 36, shared the news on an Instagram post on Monday, writing, “Vanessa and I have experienced a loss we’d like to share. We recently discovered she was pregnant. This came about by surprise and really changed our perspective on life and our future. We started to think about a future with our child.”

The post which accompanied a sonogram of the growing baby continued, “We both became really happy with the prospects and imaginations of sharing a life with them. Unfortunately, the only news I can give on them is that they will no longer be joining us. It breaks my heart.”
An outpouring of love was left in the comments for the pair who didn’t exactly steal hearts throughout either of their appearances on the TLC or Discovery + reality serials.
Debbie Johnson, Colt’s mother, roommate, costar, (possible Bates-style love interest) and soon-to-be feature in 90 Day: The Single Life season two wrote in the comments, “My heart not only breaks but also aches for what Vanessa and Colt are going through. It is so very sad that things like this happen. One minute you are on top of the world with joy. Then the next you can’t believe how much it hurts. My love goes to my family. I love you both Colt & Vanessa.”
Others from the 90 Day family-like Jon Waters, Danielle Jbali, Evelin Vargas, and Molly Hopkins all left messages of hope and condolences. No word has come from either of Colt’s exes who fans got to know through his many appearances: ex-wife Larissa Dos Santos Lima or ex-girlfriend Jess Caroline, however, we are sure both women would be sorry for Colt and Vanessa’s sad loss.
Only 2 months ago two more 90 Day alums announced the news of their miscarriage. Sasha Larina had accidentally posted a photo of his first son, David in a ‘big brother to be’ shirt leading to wife, Emily McCue Larina announcing they were expecting their second child. Shortly after, the congratulations turned to condolences as the couple lost baby number 2.
