‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers suggest that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) may be right to worry so much about her son, Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) relationship with his father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin Wants to Eliminate Jason
Before Jason came home, Sam thought she had found peace with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and her kids, Danny and Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).
That peace was shattered when Dante was shot by the unidentified sniper who was working with Jason.
While Jason shot and killed him so that he could help Dante, Jason still brought a level of danger back into Sam’s orbit that had not been there before his return to Port Charles.
Jason agreed to work as an informant for the FBI to help John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) take Pikeman down. It’s dangerous, as Jason’s cover is blown, and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) knows he doesn’t have time to lose.
Recently, Valentin had a conversation with John Brennan (Charles Mesure) and filled him in on his plan to eliminate Jason and frame Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for the murder.
Valentin wants to kill Jason soon before he gets caught. Jason shared pertinent information with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), as her super spy instincts told her that Valentin was more involved with Pikeman than she initially thought.
She asked Jason to investigate, and he learned from Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) that Valentin met with Hume the same day a sniper ambushed Sonny at the Metro Court pool.
He even had proof of the meeting in the form of a picture with a date stamp. Anna knows Valentin lied to her about everything, and she’s ready to set him up for the fall he deserves.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Saves Danny, And Sam Is Grateful
Once Valentin realizes he’s been found out, he will want to take Jason out. Jason knows too much about Pikeman. Valentin wanted to minimize the threat before; now, he’s gunning for Jason.
Valentin will use one of his men to do the job, as he would never get his hands dirty. Jason lives above Bobbie’s diner, and Danny has already snuck over there to see him.
Danny could go to visit one day and get caught in the crossfire. Valentin’s hired gun could think that Danny is Jason if they don’t get a good enough look. They could shoot first and ask questions later.
But Jason would never allow Danny to get hurt. He’s going to protect his son no matter what. So, when Danny is almost accidentally shot, that’s when Jason steps in and takes the bullet.
Of course, like always, Jason will be okay. Being shot at is an ordinary Tuesday afternoon for Jason. It won’t even faze him. Anna will catch Valentin and have the privilege of handcuffing him and reading him his rights.
At the hospital, while Jason recovers, Sam will feel relieved that Danny wasn’t hurt, but she could also find herself worried sick about Jason. She will visit him and thank him for saving their son’s life.
Will it be the spark they need to get them back together? Don’t lose hope for JaSam.
