‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the anniversary celebration of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) could provide ideas. Despite the fact that Victor and Nikki haven’t been together consistently since their initial marriage in 1984, it is evident that they don’t care.
All of Nikki’s highs and lows have always led her back to Victor because they were intended to be together. Perhaps Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will decide to move on from his relationship with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) when this anniversary party ends.
Devon may have felt that the moment was perfect, given Abby’s glowing account of Victor’s long-lasting, happy marriage. Abby may come to acknowledge that she aspires to experience a love as enduring as Victor and Nikki‘s.
It’s possible that Abby may eventually acknowledge her desire for a lasting relationship similar to Victor and Nikki’s. In an attempt to convince Abby that he is equally dedicated to their future together, Devon may soon pop the question.

Abby and Devon have been considering marriage for a while—they first discussed it in July 2023. With Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), Devon and Abby have created a loving family, so it appears that they may choose to be married and make their relationship even more formal at some time.
After recently proposing to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) believes that marriage is not the appropriate path for them. However, Audra declined his engagement ring.
When Audra witnesses a happy engagement between Devon and Abby, she could decide to reconsider. This might make Audra reconsider her decision to reject her own proposal and consider whether marriage is truly what she wants.
It’s likely only a matter of time until Abby and Devon become engaged, as they have both shown interest in getting married.
