‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Pathway to Steffy
B&B’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was born in Windsor, Ontario. She first appeared in a commercial when she was 18 years old for a hair salon company.
Then she moved to the big city of Toronto to pursue acting more seriously. In May 2008, she received a contract for playing the role of Steffy Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful.
She has been playing this part on and off since that time. Jacqueline received her first nomination for an Emmy Award in 2012, for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. She has received nominations for the other categories as well.
In 2018 she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and in 2019 she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress. She won her first award in 2019 for lead actress and she snagged that award again in 2021.
Jacqueline has played the part of Steffy Forrester well. According to Jamey Giddens of Daytime Confidential, Steffy is “a ‘bitch-nasty’ vixen who is strong willed.” Steffy has had her fair share of rumbles with people she doesn’t like but she is fiercely loyal to her family.
She is a fighter and that was evidenced recently as she took out her nemesis, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Steffy didn’t collapse under her fear but did what she needed to do to protect her family.
It will be fun over the weeks ahead to see if Shelia is possibly still alive and what this will mean for Steffy and her husband, Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Jacqueline has starred in other films and television shows. Her first feature film was Final Destination 5 in 2011. She also has musical talent. She occasionally sings and is a disc jockey.
Her debut single After Hours was released in 2012. She also has a great love for animals and advocates regularly for pet rescue organizations. She supports charitable events that help to benefit animal rescue.
