‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers have been waiting for the worm to turn on EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) after he amassed all the power he wanted, and now he’s set to possibly lose more.
After losing Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish)’s DiMera shares back to him after losing a game of chess, though no paperwork was signed, and now his DA career is taking a hit.
All of this is no surprise as no one gets to stand tall and gloat for long in soap operas, but on top of having to admit he was wrong about Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) and drop the charges in lieu of a lawsuit, EJ’s day is only going to get worse.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Eric to the rescue
There’s no denying that EJ’s biggest problem with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) coming clean is it proved him wrong, and he fought hard against that.
Now, he’ll have to deal with the face Holly went to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) about the drugs she used instead of him and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), but worse yet was finding Eric comforting Nicole.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers expect that last one to hit EJ where it really hurts, and that could lead to an argument between him and Nicole.
While we doubt the fight will last long, it could be bad enough that they’ll be on the outs for a bit and EJ will really start moping.
Given his past with Eric, we have no doubt the bad blood will linger until something sets him off.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – What’s next for EJ?
This is where things will get interesting, especially since he’s had a habit of not allowing an investigation continue and throwing the book at everyone.
Tate was the latest example, and we have a feeling he still has to atone for throwing Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) in jail without a thorough investigation.
While Paulina Prive (Jackee Harry) encouraged him, he still holds some accountability for his actions.
This may be a time off since there’s only been rumors of the role being recast since the actress left, but it’s something that’s hanging out there and needs to be resolved at some point.
There’s been little doubt that the show has been planning for Eric and Nicole to get back together since the whole baby swap was done, but with Zucker off the show for the time being, we’re curious what’s planned now.
