Meghan Markle was “incredibly envious” of Kate Middleton due to her close sisterly bond with Prince Harry. The editor of Majesty magazine, Ingrid Stewart, has called Meghan out for her petty behavior and need for attention.
Kate Was Like A Sister To Harry
“Unfortunately, it points to Meghan. Maybe Harry was a little in love with Kate,”
said the royal expert.
“I don’t mean physically, but mentally. Remember when it was just the three of them?”
Stewart asks, referring to Prince Harry, Princess Katherine, and Prince William.
Harry always wanted a sister, and before Meghan came into the picture, Kate filled that void for him. The Duchess of Sussex
“thought she was going to be the Princess and live in Windsor Castle.”
Harry and Meghan were relegated to Nottingham cottage, but William and Kate had a lavish home. Anyone could see that Meghan Markle resented her role in the royal family. She doesn’t like that Willam and Kate are higher up in succession, which, logically speaking, is ridiculous.
When Harry, Meghan, William, and Kate spoke at public engagements,
“Meghan thought she had more right to speak than Kate.”
Meghan had the audacity to think that she could teach the royal family about charity work. A narcissist to the core, this was never more evident than at the first and only royal event they attended together in 2018.
The Duchess endorsed her Me-Too charity for women, a very “Hollywood” cause, and it was a slap in the face to Kate, who was promoting her Head Together charity for mental health.
Meghan tends not to “read the room.” Her behavior shows that she wants attention, even if she must take the attention away from someone else.
She would soon see that The Royal Foundation was already thriving before she even set foot in the Palace.
Meghan Could Have Shared the Spotlight With Kate
Meghan didn’t seem to understand that she could have shared the spotlight with Kate, rather than try to be the star of the show.
The Palace protects the principles, not self-absorbed ambition. There were accusations against Kate that she didn’t try to form a bond with Meghan.
In Harry’s book, “Spare,” he claims that when William and Kate were first introduced to Meghan, Kate remained in the garden and didn’t seem interested in meeting her.
Harry also claims that Kate made Meghan cry over Princess Charlotte’s dress for the Sussex’s wedding, and he also paints the picture of Meghan sobbing on the floor as she told him about what “mean” Kate Middleton did.
However, palace aides have said it was the other way around. Kate has also claimed it was Meghan who made her cry.
In Omid Scobie’s book, “Endgame,” he claims that Meghan didn’t get such a warm reception from Kate and that the frosty relationship between the two women only escalated from there. Scobie is known as “Meghan’s mouthpiece” and is very pro-Sussex, so he may not be the most reliable source.
Harry and Kate’s bond was obviously fractured by Meghan, who also came between Harry and his brother, William. If Meghan had made an honest effort to be a team player, maybe she would still be a working royal.
