Prince Andrew is refusing to move out of his royal mansion amid claims that he sexually assaulted Virginia Giuffre and Johanna Sjoberg in the early 2000s, two girls who were underage at the time.
King Charles Plans to Remove Prince Andrew From Royal Lodge
The Duke of York is resisting King Charles’s attempts to evict him from the Royal Lodge in Berkshire and move him to Frogmore Cottage, which formerly belonged to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after Queen Elizabeth set them up to live there after they were married.
Andrew refuses these requests and generally has difficulty, as the King has been prompted to distance himself from his brother.
A source close to the Duke claims Andrew is not going anywhere, and the King can’t force him out. Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied every allegation against him.
Plans to remove Andrew from Royal Lodge were already in the works. The Firm wanted to maintain his already “downgraded” status.
The court documents that have revealed Prince Andrew to be involved with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have given the royal family all the more reason not to allow Andrew to return as a working royal.
There is an understanding in place that Andrew can attend family gatherings but not royal engagements. The King is also planning to cease The Duke’s home security.
Andrew will have to pay for security if he insists on staying at Royal Lodge, which costs more than a pretty penny.
This news comes after King Charles vowed not to abandon his brother because his mother, Queen Elizabeth, asked him not to leave Prince Andrew behind.
Maxwell Ordered to Search Electronic Devices
The court has ordered Epstein’s former madame, Ghislaine Maxwell, to search her phone and e-mails for Prince Andrew’s name along with the words “sex toy” and “erotic.”
Maxwell’s lawyers want her to look through all her communication devices for any mention of the Duke of York. Also, a list of various words, like “Prince,” “Andrew,” “Royal,” and “Underage.” She has also been asked to search for sexually explicit words in relation to “PA,” as Prince Andrew was sometimes referred to as.
In Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit, Giuffre claimed that Prince Andrew sexually assailed her when she was underage. This took place in Maxwell’s home in London, in New York, and at Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion.
Giuffre was afraid to say no because of Epstein and Prince Andrew’s “powerful connections, wealth, and authority.” Apparently, Prince Andrew had a puppet of himself, which he used in a sexual orgy involving Giuffre.
A royal source has said this about Andrew’s current mental state,
“He doesn’t have the emotional bandwidth to deal with this. He has locked himself away in a room and has no idea how to respond. He’s devastated.”
Because of the accusations against him, The Monarchy forced Prince Andrew to give up his military titles, royal titles, and royal charities. He’s a lot worse off than Harry and Meghan, and rightfully so.
In addition to the allegations, there are several pictures of Epstein and Prince Andrew. They are posing together at found at Epstein’s mansion.
Allegedly, Andrew knew that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked countless underage girls and regrets his association with him.
